About

Advice you can prove.

Bedrock exists so that regulated firms can supervise the advice they give, and prove it, at the moment AI is changing how that advice is produced.

The rules did not change. The way advice gets made did.

Financial advice is being reshaped by AI. Firms are using it to research, draft, and check the advice they give, and it is only spreading. The regulator’s position has not moved an inch: the firm is accountable for every recommendation, whoever, or whatever, produced it.

The tooling most firms rely on was never built to prove that. Oversight lives in inboxes and spreadsheets. Evidence is reconstructed after the fact, if it can be found at all. As the volume and the scrutiny both rise, that gap is where firms get caught.

Bedrock closes it.

What we believe.

01

Accountability cannot be outsourced to a model.

AI can draft advice. It cannot take responsibility for it. A qualified human has to stand behind every recommendation.

02

Evidence should be a byproduct, not a project.

Proving oversight should fall out of doing it, not consume a compliance team for weeks whenever the regulator asks.

03

Proof beats trust.

A record anyone can independently verify is worth more than a promise that nothing was changed.

04

Good supervision scales.

Whether a firm oversees one adviser or a thousand, the standard it is held to should be the same.

Who is behind it.

Bedrock Governance was founded by Luke Bettridge. He has spent his career building regulated financial infrastructure, as VP at Citi, engineering lead at JPMorganChase, and lead architect at Monument Bank.

In a bank, being able to prove what happened is not a product decision. Every action is attributable, every change is logged, and there are people whose whole job is producing evidence when somebody asks.

An advice firm carries much the same accountability for the advice it gives, without the systems or the people to prove it. Under SM&CR that accountability lands on a named individual.

The platform makes that accountability provable.

Built for the firms that answer to the FCA.
